Student initiatives

Not only does the UBC MBAN Student Society represent MBAN students in academic and administrative matters, it also builds community, facilitates a positive cohort experience and provides candidates with the opportunity to hone their leadership skills by organizing networking and social events.

In collaboration with Kabam Games, a leading mobile game developer, students compete in teams to conduct data analysis and create an algorithmic model that not only reliably identifies which gamers will become spenders, but also determines their value. Models were scored and the finalists are determined by the highest scoring.
